Stockings can be a tricky area as they are not based on shoe sizes. Nylon stockings for instance are sized according to height. Whilst other brands simply use small, medium, large or extra large. Generally small denotes a dress size 8-10, Medium would be 12-14, Large 14 – 16 and so on, but this is merely a guide, so proceed with caution.
