If there’s one thing that can be said about Britney Spears, it is that she definitely plays by her own rules when it comes to fashion, and whilst she receives regular criticism for her often bizarre outfit choices, you can’t fault the girl for trying.

Of late, Britney-based headlines have largely centred around the star’s underwear- most commonly her lack of it- and if recent reports are anything to go by, this isn’t likely to change any time in the immediate future.
The latest paparazzi shots of Britney reveal that whilst she’s happy to do her own thing with fashion, she’s certainly not averse to participating in the current sexy underwear-as-outerwear trend.
What started off an everyday shopping trip in jeans, trainers and a cute cardigan soon developed into every celebrity snapper’s dream, when Britney emerged from a lingerie store wearing one of her hot new purchases.
She may not have had any chart hits for a while, but Britney was certainly a major hit with snappers and shoppers alike when she stepped out of a swanky underwear boutique in a seriously sexy grey lace-trimmed slip.
Whilst the skimpy slip got the thumbs up, we’re a little unsure about the chunky boots she teamed the ensemble with, although she’s certainly up there with the best when it comes to rocking this risqué look.
